Press seams.  Do not pin or baste the layers, or attach the binding ahead of time.

o        Trim threads.

o        Mark top of quilt top and backing with a safety pin or piece of masking tape if it matters which end goes up.

o        If you want curved corners, please wait to cut the curves after the quilting is finished.

o        Send a yard of fabric if Zeffie is making the binding for you (excess will be returned).

o        If sending batting and backing, please leave at least five inches larger on all sides.

o        If backing is seamed, and you have a preference, let me know where you want the seam to fall.

o        Do not use the word "quilt" on the outside of the box where someone will see it and suspect what is inside.  Address the box to me personally: 

o         If paying by charge card, you do not need to send me your card information.  I will email you an invoice with your total along with a link to Zeffie's secure payment page.  You can enter the information for payment and I will receive an email stating that you have paid in full.  This way your private information is never out of your hands and the payment is secure. 

o        Place your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number (with area code) inside the package with your instructions for quilting:

• pattern
• special instructions
• batting choice
• backing choice
• thread color choice (Zeffie will choose a blending thread color if you wish)
• method of payment
